Time for Baju Kurung!!
My interest is still on Riau Pahang design. I felt in love since the first day I saw my MIL wore it long long time ago. I started to have a collection of these design since then.. till I get pregnant. So far I found a tailor who really into this which located in Kuantan, Pahang. Perhaps, there is someone here in KL will be able to tailor it as neat as Makcik’s Laila does.
Recently, I started to surf for songket. grrr.. Who Am I? hmm.. I’m going to get at least a set for my lovely riau pahang
one of the process... thats make songket expensive

“Songket
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Songket is a fabric that belongs to the brocade family of textiles. It is hand-woven in silk or cotton, and intricately patterned with gold or silver threads. The metallic threads stand out against the background cloth to create a shimmering effect. In the weaving process the metallic threads are inserted in between the silk or cotton weft (latitudinal) threads. The term songket comes from the Malay word menyongket, ‘to embroider with gold or silver threads’. Songket is a luxury product traditionally worn during ceremonial occasions as sarong, shoulder cloths or head ties. Tanjak or Songket headdresses were worn at the courts of the Malay Sultanates.[1] Traditionally Muslim women and adolescent girls wove songket; “some boys and men are also weaving today”.[2] Traditionally-patterned Sumatran textiles embody a system of interpretable emblems.
In Indonesia, songket is produced in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Bali, Sulawesi, Lombok and Sumbawa. Outside of Indonesia, further production areas include the east coast of the Malay Peninsula and Brunei.[3] Songket weaving is historically associated with areas of Malay settlement, and the production techniques could have been introduced by Arab and Indian merchants. Historically, production was located in politically significant kingdoms because of the high cost of materials; the gold thread used was originally wound with real gold leaf.[3]
Songket have been widely marketed as fashion apparel since the 1990s”

As a YOUNG mother of 4, I’m trying my best NOT to over-budgetting. I’m sure most of us will agree if I say that we spent more than quarter of our household income for our kids. Providing the best from medication > immunisation > education > and not forgotten an insurance or at least a medical card each for a rainy days. The approach are differ compared to us. They way they brought up also different.
When I was born, I’m using a cloth diaper (a napkin mcm dolu2) , mother have to wash it everyday.. Life gets easier today.. Even though most of us hired a maid to take care of the kids / household stuff, napkin pun dah tak pakai..baik pakai ‘lampin pakai buang’ — pampers.. drypers.. mamypoko.. huggies.. etc.
As for me, I need at least 6 Jumbo Pack for a month usage. 4 for our twins and 2 for Iman. Tak larat dah nak spend 5 packs MamyPoko Jumbo a month… PARAH!! Therefore, I look for an alternative.. finally found someone who sell a diaper at very competitive. I dont say cheap because sometime you can get MamyPoko .. or even Huggies Dry Comfort.. selling at RM29/pack. So, an alternative, we gathered few mothers (fren of mine) and get a dealer price.. we save almost 15% each pack..

Some said, loves more important than money. Yes, agreed with that. But how to lives without money? food, even vegetables we have to buy, water, still need to pay water bills, going to toilet also need to pay.. nothing is free in this world. hehe.. enuf nizza……….

This month I’ve bought 4 handbags from Elle (Black Large Shoulder Bag), Camly (50% discount) a nice bag actually, a Carlo Rino which I use it right now (as pic), and Brown Polo Bag (for working)… well, I’m sold my Red Elle handbag which i bought for Hari Raya recently to someone (to let go by end of this month). Therefore, I think I deserves to have a replacement by end of this month.
carlo rino bag with a messy desk background.
Talking about handbag, I dun mind about the brand, but must be up to date yet stylish.. not necessary to be a branded one. Quote from Jo ‘ when you buy one branded handbag which cost you RM2k, you’ll have only one handbag. but if you spend 200-300 per handbag, you could buy more!!’ hehe.. for me, its a good advise tho I’m starting to fall in love with Louis Vuitton’s Collections - e.g. Mahina, Tivoli & Neverfull.
I still wanted to have one Authentic series either from LV or Coach .. (Coach it far more cheaper than LV).. Somebody I knew, who bought directly from US, sell it off at very competitive price compared to coach boutique in KLCC. But must pay CASH laa.. whatever it is, i’m thinking I grab one for personal reason. For my personal confidence and interest la.. (is it? hmm.. otherwise, just buy one ‘imi’ LV) nice one - look alike an Authentic one… Will I?
Grrrr… Im going insane!!
ps: “Dapat Authentic Key Chain pun jadi lah.. desperate punyer pasal :)”
Dear, may I get either one of this….
COACH..

Louis Vuitton

Last Saturday I’ve attended a walk in interview which I put 100% effort to get everything done include passport photos, resume updates & photocopy of certificates. Usually I’d just ignore it and bring what ever I have.. I do hope that I would get job
well, still 50-50. I’m not a degree/diploma holder.
Reached the place at 12noon, fill up the application form for 15 minutes, then submit to the reception counter. Most of the attendees looks professional with a formal working attire, saya seperti seekor semut merah!! Real cold even in my thick Zara Blazer. Nice workplace, environment, equipped with recreation centre, children playground, hotel-like washroom.. I started to imagine bringing my kids there.. haha.. koya!! jarang memana workplace ada playground nih.. excited!! I think I’m in the ‘wonderland’ for about 5 minutes before they call me to meet the interviewer. As usual, the questions..
talk about yourself..
why you’re here today..
why you’re leaving your current company..
what do you know about us..
What do you know about our products..
what motivates you..
I goreng till garing with all the facts and a lil knowledge I had in mind. (Their products are alien to me), Lucky me, been shortlisted. My turn to ask about them.. what solutions they provided..work routine.. etc.. hmm.. on the way home, i hold my 2 hands NOT to call/sms hubby.. sampai rumah, because of the energy, excitements, I unable to control my face…
Above all, Alhamdullillah, insya-allh rezeki anak2.. Thanks a million to family and friends to pray for me for this job.. not forgotten, hubby who help to find my files and resume
love you all
